“Speed” ​​or “Route” overlay parts are not displayed

When the movie has not been shot with REC-1:

  • Only GPS files that can be recorded at the same time when recording with REC-1 are supported.

When a movie shot with REC-1 is selected:

  • You did not import from the HOME screen of “XON LOG-1 Overlay Movie Exporter”.
    * If you change the folder structure GPS data can not be displayed.
  • GPS data was not taken when recording.
    * In cases when shooting in an inside room, or other places with no GPS signal.
    * In cases when the recording time is too short.

  1. What device you are using.
  2. What issue you are having.
  3. Any solutions you have already tried.

You can not proceed to the next screen even if you select a movie via “Select Video” screen and click “NEXT”.

About video files

  • Make sure the camera time is set correctly.
  • If the camera is UTC time, please check “Load as UTC time”.
    Select the correct shooting time displayed on the right side when selecting the file.
  • Movies that has been processed or format converted can not be synchronized with LOG-1 because the encoding time will have changed.

About LOG-1 data files

  • Have you imported the LOG-1 data on your PC already? If you haven’t, check here.
  • Did you set the time of LOG-1 before shooting? If you didn’t, check here.
  • If you edited the LOG-1 data file, you can not use it with the application.

If you select multiple videos

  • Are the multiple selected videos consecutive?
    * Only videos that are made by one recording operation, you can use them as one movie by selecting them all at once.

Videos are not displayed on the “Select Video” screen

When there are no videos saved on the PC

If you are using REC-1, please select “Reading REC-1 (SD card)” from the HOME screen.
For other cameras, copy the movie file using the manufacturer’s recommended tool or from the SD card to the computer.

When there are videos saved on the PC

Please select the folder with the movie file via “Change Folder”.

When videos are not displayed even after selecting a folder with videos:

  • Video format can not be used in the application.
    * Supported Formats: MP4, Mov (AVC/H.264)
  • Video aspect ratio can not be used by the application.
    * Supported Aspect Ratio: 16:9
  • The video file is broken.

“Device was not found” is displayed after clicking “Scan Device”.

In normal use, the device ID will be displayed after connecting LOG-1 to a PC and clicking the “Scan Device” button.
There may be cases where the message “Device was not found” is displayed after connecting LOG-1 to PC.

Please check the following guide if a similar problem happens.

  • Make sure that the USB cable connector is fully inserted.
  • Check here and perform a force termination, click the “Scan Device” button again.

When using “Magnet Detection Mode”, there is no reaction even if a magnet is held close to the sensor

When using “Magnet Detection Mode”, the LED turns green in the absence of magnetism and the LED turns red when detecting a magnetic force.
There may be cases where LOG-1 does not respond even if a magnet is held close to the sensor.

Please check the following guide if a similar problem happens.

  • Check here and confirm if the magnet is near the magnet detection position.
  • Check here and confirm the LED illuminates after pressing the main button about 3 seconds.

LOG-1 LED does not illuminate

In normal use, after pressing and holding the button on the main unit for 3 seconds, LOG-1 will end sleep mode and the LED will light for about 3 seconds.
There may be cases where LOG-1 does not respond even if pressing the main button.

Can you use LOG-1 without an internet connection?

LOG-1 connects to the internet to perform the following actions.

  • Updating firmware
  • Online help

If there is no internet connection available, LOG-1 cannot perform these actions, all other functions will be available.

About requirements for LOG-1 application

Application PC Requirements

LOG-1 uses Windows applications for changing device settings and exporting movies.
PCs that meet the following specifications are required to use this product.

*Cerevo cannot guarantee operation in a multi-boot environment.
Memory 2GB (4GB or more recommended)
HDD free space (for installation) 1GB or more
Graphics DirectX11 or greater
USB port USB 1.1 or higher (1.1 / 2.0 / 3.0)
Display 960×768 or higher

Are there any apps other than Windows?

You have to use the Windows application to operate LOG-1.

Mac and Linux are currently unsupported (operation within a multi-boot environment is not guaranteed).

Also, you cannot use LOG-1 with a smartphone or tablet.
